Throughout the morning at Lakewood
The 2024 Fun Run and FUNdraiser is now underway!
Our goal is to raise $6,000 for through fun, teamwork, and active learning. The money raised by the PTO pays for field trips, special events, assemblies, and so much more.
To participate in the fundraising, create your child’s event page online at getmovinfundhub.com (school identifier: 672258b02326c). First, register as a parent and add a child. Then, share the page to friends and family to collect donations.
The class that raises the most will earn a class party!
Volunteer for the Fun Run
All parents are welcome and encouraged to cheer for students running at the event, but you can also help make the day a success by volunteering. Tasks include leading pre-run stretching, donating post-run snacks, handing out lap markers to track the kids’ rounds. We could also use an event photographer – no experience needed.

Volunteers, who haven’t already, will need to complete an AAPS Background Check prior to the day. These will be emailed to you.
Background Checks are not necessary for Parent Cheerleaders.
This event will be held outside. Kids should wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothing, and bring a water bottle.
Classes have selected color themes. Kids are encouraged to wear their color and/or Lakewood spirit wear.

Each grouping will have a warm-up, run, followed by a group picture and snack
8:50 am Mixed Grade
9:00 am Preschool
9:15 am 5th Graders
9:35 am 4th Graders
9:55 am 3rd Graders
10:15 am Kindergartners & Young 5’s
10:35 am 2nd Graders
10:55 am 1st Graders
